Dear Residents,
On behalf of my
committee members, i am pleased to inform your goodself that we shall be
organising the Annual General Meeting for year 2012 as follows :

Serbaguna, Taman Setiawangsa (near futsal/basketball courts)
We, the committee
wish to thank all the residents of Puncak Setiawangsa for the generous support
which had enabled us to execute several.community based actions - the principal
of which is the 'gated community' security concept - (we also thank the
minority quarters who disagreed with the 'gated' concept but graciously acceded
respecting the wishes of the majority).
Apart from the
cultural celebrations, the committee also managed to create awareness of a
neighbouring development's potential impact on the community and began the
process of creating a mini recreation park along Jalan Bukit Setiawangsa with
Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur.
The subscription of
members when we re-started the ‘gated concept’ was very encouraging at almost
56% for year 2011 – however, up till May 2012, our members currently comprise
only 45% of the community with the following breakdown :

It is apparent that
there are still many more residents (and tenants!) that could contribute and
become members of the residents association - we hope the transparent-ness of
our operations, our sincerity in giving our time and our earnest efforts in
executing the community programmes will persuade them to participate in
whatever form, manner and ability.
If you are one of the
residents who do want to subscribe but was hampered by lack of time and opportunity,
we are pleased to inform that you could make your contribution to the community
as follows :

I also wish to
apologise to any residents whose requests may not have been addressed
satisfactorily by the committee - we hope they would highlight them in this
coming AGM so that more detailed attention could be given by the new 2012
committee members to achieve a community wide solution.
